Returning Cases:
Case #05-36 - Signage John Canida - Applicant
John Canida: This is second appearance before the board. Previous application was put on hold due to companies merging and sign would have a different company name. Name has changed. Sign would be located on the pole sign and would match the existing size. Dimensions of sign face 45in x 69 in. The second sign would be placed above the front door and would be exactly the same size. This would be a sticker that would fit over the top of existing.
Anne Houck: Motion to accept as presented.
Steve Marrano: Second.
Board All Ayes.
Case #05-45 - Awnings Joe & Joan Dimauro - Applicants
Joe Dimauro: The case before you tonight is for the awnings on both front and side of the building. We are looking to get the full approval now but will be installing the front awning first. Also tonight we would like to present a sign for the side of the building.
The board suggested that no text is to appear on the awnings.
Joe Dimauro: The reason for the request of awnings in the front was that the store becomes very warm with the sun shinning into the front windows.
The board commented that there was no objection with the awnings but why the applicant couldn't put a film on the inside of the windows also and drop the awning down lower to increase and before effective at shading the sun.
