FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE

This program will provide an opportunity for 8 - 11 year old participants (April 30, 2008) to continue to play baseball into the fall. It's a program for developmental purposes to enhance your skills and team play. Teams will be formed for games and instructional clinic will be offered in pitching, hitting, and fielding.Volunteer coaches are needed to make this program successful.

9ER BASEBALL PITCHERS AND CATCHERS CLINIC

Pitchers will learn the importance of good mechanics. Participants will be taught to maximize the use of their bodies to throw harder and more accurate.  Catchers will focus on the receiving aspects from catchers position. In addition, participants will be taught  the ready position as it relates to throwing, blocking wild pitches and fielding.

This clinic is designed to take an in-depth look into the player's ability to use a bat and make good contact with a baseball.

 IN HOUSE FALL  BASKETBALL LEAGUE- GRADES 1 - 2

This program for boys and girls is designed to be fun and recreational.  Players will be instructed in the skills of basketball beginning with clinics followed by actual play. Fundamentals will be stressed.

MT. KISCO KARATE

Several programs for girls and boys ages 6 through teen (adults are also welcome to join). There will be  lots of positive energy and healthier bodies, a positive attitude about themselves and self defense techniques in a highly structured and friendly environment. Official class uniforms are available (for additional cost through the instructor). Eight week long sessions are held throughout the school year.

TENNIS LESSONS

This six week long program is designed to help a player reach the next level of their ability. There will be an emphasis on movement, imporvement and of course, fun. Singles and doubles strategies will be applied. Students are placed in classes according to ability/age. Instructor: Norm Zelenko currently teaches tennis at The Saw Mill Athletic Club and has previously taught for both the Mt. Kisco Recreation and Tarrytown Recreation Tennis with instructor John Lucas.

BABYSITTER'S TRAINING COURSE                   NEW

The Babysitter's Training course gives 11 -15 year olds the skills and confidence to safety and responsibly care for children and infant, through hands-on activities, interactive video and lively discussions. The course teaches youths how-to care for children and infants... be good leaders and role models, make good desicions and solve problems, keep the children they babysit and themselves safe, handle emergencies, (such as injuries, illness and household accidents), write resumes and interview for jobs. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive a "Babysitters Red Cross Card."
