YOGA

Yoga is an ancient tradition that strenthens and tones the body, calms and quiets the mind, and refreshes and renews the spirit. In this beginner level class you will be taught basic yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation in a safe, supportive, and non-competitive atmosphere. You will be encouraged to work at your own level of ability, while honoring your body's needs. You can choose to start your week on Monday morning with an energizing yoga class emphasizing posture flows; or end your day with Tuesday evening's relaxing class emphasizing restorative postures. No experience (or flexibility) is necessary. All levels of experience are welcome. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move and stretch in, bring a yoga mat (if you have one) and a towel.
