Recreation Department

The Recreation Department administers policy set by the Recreation Commission as well as oversees all Mount Kisco recreational facilities and programs.

These facilities include: 

• Fox Park - located off Carpenter Avenue.  It covers approximately 2 acres and offers a softball field, basketball courts and a facility for senior citizens, Fox Center.
• Leonard Park - the entrance is located on Route 172 (So. Bedford Road).  The park covers approximately 120 acres and offers a childrens playground (Kiwanis Korner), four tennis courts, basketball court; softball, hardball and little league fields, Frisbie Golf course, Tea House with picnic areas in the rear, sleigh riding and fishing on Wallace Pond, and Memorial Pool.  In addition there is a multi-purpose recreation building located next to the pool.  This year-round building is open seven days a week for recreation programs and is also available for birthday party rentals.

The Mt. Kisco Rec'ord is Recreation's monthly newsletter, which is distributed during the first week of each month to the Mount Kisco Elementary and West Patent Elementary Schools and the Mount Kisco Public Library.  Additional copies are available at the Recreation Office.  These newsletters will keep you informed of any program changes and updates.
