LET'S MAKE A GINGERBREAD HOUSE

This class will meet one time to construct and decorate a pre-baked gingerbread house. All participants will be able to take their project home and of course, share it with the whole family. Sorry, but late registration for this program cannot be accepted as we need time to order the kits in advance. Please join us for this fun filled morning while school is out.

COOKIE DECORATING CLASS   FULL

This special one-hour class will meet to decorate some cookies for the holiday season. Each child will receive one dozen freshly baked cookies on which they can decorate to their heart's content. Icing, sprinkles, and other goodies will all be provided.

LETTERS TO SANTA

It's time to write those Letters to Santa again! All children may write a letter to Santa Claus and place it in one of our special "Letters to Santa Mailboxes" located in the Recreation Office(104 Main Street), Mt. Kisco Public Library, The Memorial Complex in Leonard Park, West Patent and at Mt. Kisco Elementary Schools. Our special mailboxes will be available from December 1, 2006 through December 19, 2006. Letters will be sent directly to Santa Claus at the North Pole. If the following information (name, age, and address) is included in each letter, Santa will write back!!!

PARENTS TIME OFF AND CHILDRENS PIZZA PARTY

Got last minute shopping to do? Have to finish wrapping those gifts? Or maybe you just need a few hours to yourself to take a breather? Drop the kids off with us. We'll feed them a pizza dinner and entertain them for a few hours. Exact menu can be seen on the registration form for this program.

BUILD A SNOWMAN CONTEST

Have your family build a snowman anytime this winter! Take a photograph of the creation, along with its creators, and send it to the Recreation Office (104  Main Street)  by        March 1, 2007. Please write the name(s) of the child(ren), age, phone numbers and address on the back of the photo. Winning creation will be featured in a future issue of the Recreation  Program Catalogue.

CHILDREN'S COMBINED HOLIDAY PARTY

A special event co-sponsored by the Mt. Kisco Service Organization. All children will meet at the Memorial Complex parking lot in Leonard Park at 9:45am, where they will be driven by fire truck to the American Legion Building to meet Santa. Pick up is 11:30am SHARP!

ICE SKATING

Mt. Kisco Recreation Commission administers the skating area at Wallace Pond in Leonard Park. The pond (when frozen) is checked daily for safety. Signs will be posted at the pond to indicate if ice skating is permitted. You may call the Recreation Office at 666-3059 for further information.***Volunteers are needed to supervise ice skating at Leonard Park. Anyone interested, please contact the Recreation Office at 666-3059.

HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING & CAROLING

This special event is sponsored by the Mt. Kisco Chamber of Commerce. The tree lighting and caroling will be followed by cocoa & cookies with Santa at the American Legion.
