Water Emergency Regulations

Now, Therefore, I, William F. Williams, Village Manager of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, acting pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 105-4(a) of the Code of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, do hereby promulgate the following regulations for the use of water in the Village/Town of Mount Kisco.

LEVEL I WATER USE RESTRICTIONS

a) No person shall serve water to a customer in a restaurant except upon the specific request of such customer. It shall be the responsibility of the owner of the restaurant to ensure compliance with this restriction.

b) Lawn Irrigation (sprinkler systems) may be used to water lawns under the following conditions: On odd numbered days for locations with odd numbered addresses, between the hours of 5am-9am and 7pm-9pm.

On even numbered days for locations with even numbered addresses, between the hours of 5am -9am and 7pm-9pm.

The foregoing regulations will remain in effect until the water emergency is declared to be no longer in existence or until modified by me.

Pursuant to section 105-4 and section 105-5 of the Code of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco the violation of any of these regulations is punishable by a fine of not less than $250.00 nor more that $1,000.00, or fifteen (15) days imprisonment, or both, or, for corporate offenders, a fine of not less than $1,000.00 nor more than $2,500.00.
